CREATING HEALTHY HABITS FOR A PRODUCTIVE WORKFORCE
DURATION: 2 DAYS

INTRODUCTION
According to a survey conducted in 2019 among 230 organisations, 90% of the Malaysian workforce is leading an unhealthy lifestyle, 42% are overweight or obese, 53% are sleep deprived, and 51% suffer from work-related stress. This unhealthy workforce causes organisations to lose a total of 73.3 days per employee due to absence and presenteeism (present but unable to perform), costing each employer RM1.46 million per month.

This training is designed to boost workplace productivity by helping employees build healthy habits and break unhealthy ones through habit manipulation; a research-based technique proven to be transformative. The main objective of this training is to instil a growth mindset and implement practical habit-formation techniques that enhance physical and mental well-being to drive high performance, enhance productivity, and engagement across the organisation.

  • The spill-over effect of habit- self-control, self-belief, confidence, motivation, effective time management.
  • Tracking, barrier recognition, and coping plan.
  • Examine the benefits of an accountability partner.

Day 2
Module 4: Decoding Your Habits
  • Recognising the drawbacks of unhealthy habits

Module 5: Overcoming Unhealthy Habits
  • Analyse cues and rewards of unhealthy habits.
  • Apply cue removal and less rewarding strategies to break unhealthy habits.
  • Apply habit substitution and resistance techniques to break unhealthy habits.

Module 6: Well-being and Workplace Success
  • Examine the impact of physical well-being on productivity.
  • Listing activities to be carried out in the workplace to boost physical and mental well-being and productivity.
